Born in 1979 in London, England, actress Rosamund Mary Elizabeth Pike is the only child of a classically trained violinist's mother, Caroline (Friend), and a opera father of a singer, Julian Pike. Due to their work, she spent her early childhood traveling around Europe. Pike attended Badminton School in Bristol, England and was a part of the National Youth Theatre.
