Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vincie, born December 10, 1987 was an American journalist and sports anchor. She works as a reporter at Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's fascination with stock car racing started when she was given an entry pass to the pit lane, following graduation from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. When SceneDaily published her self-made videos blog posts about NASCAR her name was noticed. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 on the 10th of December in 1987. Her family relocated to Warrenton when Vincie began high school. Vincie is the daughter of John Vincie and Margaret, and has an older sister. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her maternal grandfather who was a member of Bridgewater College's faculty. Journalism was something she had always had an interest in since the age of a child. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie was a track and field athlete and was a manager for the school’s wrestling team for four seasons. Vincie won in the 800-meter event of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with a large amount of information. In 2010 she graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie was an intern for the athletics department at the university, and had a similar job for the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. After securing a pitlane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie did her senior dissertation on the gender gap in auto racing. She cites Krista Voda as well as Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
