Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter was born July 23rd, 1970. She played Cordelia Chase in the series of supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). Also, she was a part of Charmed (2004) and Kendall Casablanca's character in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was part of The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada), the daughter of Christine Carpenter who is a bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. Carpenter is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter was a student at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas; she was also a part of a group of dancers and singers which performed in the Las Vegas Valley when she was just nine years old. old.When Carpenter was 15, her family moved to Rosario Beach, Baja California, Mexico and then to San Diego, California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. After graduating, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and worked as an aerobics teacher and videostore clerk as well as a property manager. She cheered for the San Diego Chargers football club in the year 1991. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles. She was swimming in San Diego with two male friends at the time that Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist was threatening them. In the course of the fight that ensued, her companions and Hubbard were killed, forcing him to flee the scene. Both of them survived the attack. Hubbard was arrested after being found guilty and sentenced 56 years in prison for several rapes. Carpenter took Hubbard's flashlight, which was a police-issue flashlight, away from the beach. The flashlight was a crucial piece of evidence used against Hubbard.
