Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born 25th August, 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. She also was a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. She's the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature spiky blonde hair and a bubbly personality, reveals simple to learn techniques and eliminates the fear of eating at restaurants in her show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell studied and worked in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the cuisine of Italy. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied following her graduation with an English degree as well as a communications diploma from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was the place where I experienced the most fun time of my life. Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic place to study. After graduating, Burrell spent one year learning in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners as well as working at the Umbrian restaurant La Taverna del Lupo as well as Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, an Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef gained an understanding of Italian culture and cuisine throughout her time in Italy, which has influenced the way she cooks. Burrell served as a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve children's lives who are facing problems. She is also an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador who promotes awareness of juvenile diabetes. She speaks about her cooking passion and shares her experiences in the food world when she goes on trips across the USA in the roles of mentors and speakers.
