Markie Post grew-up in Walnut Creek. She began her professional career as a TV and film producer, producing films such as "The New Card Sharks", (1978) and "Card Sharks" (1986). She continued to produce projects like Double Dare (1976), and appeared on various TV shows like E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman (2000). Perhaps her most famous TV performance was "Christine Sullivan" on Night Court (1984). From 1984 until 1992 she was in 156 episodes. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She was a poet and a well-known nuclear physicist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 to April 7 15th, 2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26 in 1987), and Daisy Ross (born on March 30, 1990) were born in her second marriage to Michael A. Ross.
