Natalie Dormer was born on 11 February 1982. She is an English actress. Her awards include an Empire Award, nominations for Critics' Choice Awards, two Gemini Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her birthplace was in Reading, Berkshire, Dormer had her breakthrough playing the character of Anne Boleyn on The Tudors, a Showtime show The Tudors (2007-08), that earned her acclaim across the board. In Sweet Nothings (2010), she made her stage debut. She she also played the Duchess of York in Madonna's W.E. (2011), and Private Lorraine in Captain America the First Avenger (2011). After Miss Julie (2012), at the Young Vic, was highly and praised. Dormer was praised internationally and received recognition for her performances in the roles of Margaery Tyrell (2012-2016 on HBO) and Cressida (2014-2015 on The Hunger Games), of which are among her top-rated films. Dormer also voiced the character of Onica in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2018), Sara Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016), and Irene Adler/Moriarty on the CBS series Elementary (2013)-15. Her character in Penny Dreadful: City of Angels the miniseries about Penny Dreadful, was highly and highly acclaimed. Dormer was born in Reading (Berkshire), England on February 11, 1982. She is the daughter of Gary Dormer, Claire Richards, and Samantha Dormer.
