Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was conceived in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents. She is the middle child of two siblings: the older one, Natasha Chalke, one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah's acting debut was in City Boy (1992), the TV-produced film. After her first film, Sarah auditioned in 1993 for the role of "Becky" of Roseanne (1988). The show was looking for a replacement for Alicia Goranson, who left the show to go to university. Sarah graduated from highschool in 1995, and was involved in the production of Roseanne (1988) from 1994 to 1995. Sarah also starred with Jim Varney (1994) in Ernest Goes to School (1994). In 1996, Sarah played in two films: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) as a cheerleader named Krista Wilson. In 1998, one year following the time that Roseanne (1988) was finished, Sarah was asked to act in a show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998). It was based on the show the show Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (2000), Sarah also was a part of the show. She was able to take over Becky's (1988) role from Alicia Goranson. She declared that she'd like to stop acting and go to college. [2001] (1993-1997) She was Sara Gilbert's older sibling on Roseanne (1988) However, she is much younger in real life. Participated in the 1999 CCMA Award Ceremony, where she received an award for the top single of 1999. In September of 1999, appeared in local Vancouver stage productions, starting at age eight. She is fluent in French as well as German. She is a volunteer for hospices that provide care to terminally ill children. Chalke likes cooking with her group of friends, especially Thai and sushi, and playing the guitar. She also likes to ski (she is an instructor) Kayaking, snowboarding, kayaking as well as reading. Her father is an attorney, and both of her parents manage a child-adoption agency. Her parents took her to China to facilitate the adoptions of multiple orphans.
