Gillian MacLaren Jacobs

Gillian MacLaren Jacobs born October 19, 1982 is an American actor from the United States. Her roles include Britta Perry (NBC comedy series from 2009 to 2015), Mickey Dobbs (Netflix romantic comedy series Love (2016)-2018) and Atom Eve (Amazon animated series Invincible 2021). Mimi Rose Howard played a regular part in the fourth season of the HBO comedy series Girls (2012 to 2017). Gillian MacLaren Jacobs was conceived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 19th, 1982. Her mother, Martina Magenau Jacobs, works in alumni relations at Carnegie Mellon University, while her father, William F. Jacobs Jr. was an investment banker. Her father, William F. Jacobs Jr. passed away in 2013. She was raised in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Her family owned the Erie Brewing Company (not the same as the brewery later with that name). While growing up, Jacobs attended weekend acting classes at Pittsburgh Playhouse. She performed regularly at the Pittsburgh Public Theater. This enabled her to be a part in Titania's production A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. In 2000, she received her diploma from Lebanon High School. After that, she relocated to New York City for the Juilliard School. There, she received a BFA in 2004.
